Church Electoral Roll
If you wish to take part in the APCM or vote at this meeting, you will need to be on the Electoral Roll. Enrolment forms can be obtained from the back of church where a new list will be on display from 24th March. Please hand forms in to any of the Wardens who will pass them on to me for inclusion. Thank you. Maureen Blackler, Electoral Roll Officer.
The Mean Bean Challenge.
It's Fairtrade Fortnight - so why not dig out the beans, and take the challenge! Eat nothing but rice and beans for your main meal, maybe even several meals, and what you save, give to Tearfund! Until 17th May, the government will double all donations. Your Tearfund rep at church is Jackie (tel: 366061) who will happily collect all the challenge money and send it to Tearfund. Thankyou !
ANOTHER CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED WITH FUNDRAISING FOR THE UPGRADING OF OUR INVALUABLE HALL!! - Thank you to those of you who are already supporting our cause by registering at this link and using it every time you buy goods online: http://easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stbudeauxhall and using this link when you search the internet: http://stbudeauxhall.easysearch.org.uk/ It really works!! In the 6 years since we registered with Easyfundraising, the 28 of us who have registered have already raised over £600. Think how much this could be if all church family (who have the internet) registered and so did their friends and family!! If you install ‘Donation Reminder’ on your toolbar the cause gets 50p and you will never forget to click onto it when you search the internet with the intent to buy something. If you install ‘Easysearch’ on your search bar, you will already be logged in and just click onto it whenever you are searching the web. Every time you do, we get 0.5p. It does all mount up - £20 a year at 10 searches a day! It is easier to set up than it sounds! Please give it a try, especially as you start thinking about booking holidays, train journeys, hotels, car, travel and house insurance online and then raise significant amounts for the Hall Development Committee. Many thanks, Liz Webb (Secretary and Fundraiser).
