January Free Will Offering

Our free will offering (that’s the amount of money the church family gives to support the ministry & mission of the church here in St Budeaux) for January 2020 was an amazing £3,107.00p  and the Plate Collection was £579.25p. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who gives so generously to support our work here as we seek to reach out to our community with the love of Jesus. CAP News

At 1:00pm on Thursday 27th February do join us at 52 Budshead Road to pray for all the CAP team and clients. The recent Money Courses were very successful and CAP is fully booked with clients for February and March. CAP Cafe is open Tuesday midday at St Aidan's Church.

  • 26th February, Ash Wednesday – 1:30pm Church open for quiet prayer and 2.30pm Ash Wednesday Service
  • Saturday 29th February 8:30am to 1:00pm – Prayer Morning
  • Lent Meetings – Thursdays 12, 19, 26 March 7:15pm for 7:45pm in Lower Hall and then Mondays 30 March and 6 April
  • 9th April at 2:00pm Maundy Thursday Last Supper
  • Saturday 14th March Away Day from 10:00am to 3:00pm – venue to be announced


Ladies’ Film Night

Ladies’ Film Night on Friday 28th February in the Church Hall. Bring some nibbles and a bottle if you want to and relax with some friends. Donations gratefully received towards the Church Hall Development Fund.


Easter Passion Play

“By His Words We are Healed” will take place between Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th April at Ridgeway Methodist Church for anyone aged 12 years and over. Tickets cost £5.


Wednesday Bible Study Group

There will be no Wednesday Bible study now until after Easter (from 19th February until Wednesday 15th April).


Churches Together in Plymouth (CTiP): Upcoming Events

Following the wonderful Unity Service attended by over 40 churches on 29th January:

  • SWYM at the Aquarium: on 13th March at 7:00pm, at National Marine Aquarium
  • Re:define – Church Leader’s Day: on 14th March at 9:30am, at St Aidan's Church
  • Living Sustainably in our Modern World: on 14th March at 10:30am, at Emmanuel Church

Mission Shed Hub Plymouth Spring Meeting
